| The extraordinary
weather in this part of the Costa Almeria ensures more than
300 sunny days a year and a average temperature of around
73º Fahrenheit (23º Celsius), giving all visitors
and residents the option to enjoy the beaches and outdoor

Most amenities in the village
of San Juan de los Terreros are within a short easy 10 minute
walk and they include supermarkets, bars, cafes, restaurants
and ice cream parlours. A medical centre and pharmacy are
also in the center of the village and open for non residents
with your E111 documents.
The famous blue flag beaches
of Terreros are also only around 10 minutes walk from Casa
Rosa and provide safe family bathing on clean sandy beaches.
In the nearby town of Aguilas,
there are fantastic beaches, traditional Spanish tapas bars,
shopping including a new Mall. Coffee and people watching
from the main town square is a popular pastime.
If you want to venture further
afield you can find a super water park and go-karting at Vera
(20km), Oasys western theme park and zoo is about 40km inland
and well worth a visit.
For golfers the following amazing
courses are all within 30 minutes drive (Mundo Aguilon, Desert
Springs, Valle del Este, Marina Mojacar, Macenas) and provide
a challenge for all abilities.
